The Workshop on Legal evidence and argumentation will be held at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (New University of Lisbon), in its centrally located Avenida de Berna campus which hosts the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FCSH). The faculty is home to ArgLab – part of Institute of Philosophy (IFILNOVA)– which organises the event.
See the location at Google Maps
The hotel reserved for the conference speakers is the Hotel Principe Lisboa, located very close to the Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
You can find the location of the hotel and the directions for the conference venue HERE
The airport is quite busy, and there are usually long lines to take the taxi or the bus. The best way to get to the hotel and the conference from the airport is the metro (red line until São Sebastião). Otherwise, you can also take a taxi, but the best and quickest way is to go to the DEPARTURES. When you exit the main door of departures, you will find some taxis across the road waiting. There is no line and they will take you immediately. You can have an idea of where you should go HERE.
The conference dinner will be held at the Restaurant of the Clube Naval de Lisboa, in Belem. In Belem, you can visit some important monuments of the city, such as the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, the Tower, and the Church of St. Maria de Belém.
